Equipment
The most important aspect of photography is your ability to see and feel, not what tools you use. Photography tends to attract those that like the cameras and gadgets (I'm one of those!), but to truly excel, one must use the tools to their fullest extent possible to make the most expressive images.
While it is certainly possible to create very good photographs using less than ideal equipment, fine cameras and lenses allow the photographer to fully exploit the medium.
Life is both too long, and too short, to live it without the best tools!
I've included this list of my current equipment as an aid to those who are building up their own systems. This current list reflects those items which I really use, Over the years, many cameras and lenses have come and gone either because I didn't like them, or because they were not used often enough. This list best suits my shooting style and creative needs, your list should be tailored to your style and needs.
